Sabrina Carpenter Named Redken's First-Ever Hair Care Ambassador

J ust one more notch in her growing list of laurels can be added to the name of Sabrina Carpenter-now also Redken's first-ever hair care ambassador. The pop star, famous for her long blonde locks, will now start teaming up with the L'Oréal-owned brand by appearing in ad campaigns for its Acidic Bonding Concentrate collection, set to launch later this month.

"Beauty, and especially my hair, has always been a huge part of who I am," Carpenter stated. "I've always wanted to collaborate with a hair brand but waited for the right one. Redken has been the secret behind keeping my hair looking its best, and I'm excited to finally share what we've worked on."

Joining Carpenter in this partnership are her longtime hairstylist Scott King and colorist Laurie Heaps, who will also join Redken's professional talent team. "What convinced me was the brand," they shared, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to work with Carpenter’s iconic voluminous hair and bangs, a sought-after look in the industry.

"Carpenter's iconic hair speaks for itself," said Severine Breton, president of Redken, regarding the collaboration. "Whether she is trending on social media or walking the streets of New York, her blonde hair, bangs, and perfect blowouts are the talk of the town. This is one of the biggest partnerships we have had to date, and Sabrina's fearless attitude, ambition, and magnetic personality make her the perfect fit for Redken."

Carpenter's music career is also soaring. Her latest album, Short N' Sweet, debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart last week, marking her first No. 1 debut. Her new single, "Taste," is at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, with pre-release tracks "Please Please Please" and "Espresso" sitting at third and fourth, respectively. All 12 songs from the album peaked between No. 2 and No. 41. Notably, Carpenter is only the third female artist to have three songs chart in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously, following Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.

To add to her busy schedule, Carpenter will perform at this week's MTV VMAs, which were rescheduled to avoid clashing with the first presidential debate. Following this, her sold-out Short N' Sweet Tour will kick off in Columbus, OH, and conclude in Los Angeles. The tour will wrap up the year with three shows: one at Crypto.com Arena on Nov. 15 and two at the Kia Forum on Nov. 17 and 18. Redken will join Carpenter for the tour.

This partnership marks another significant milestone for Carpenter as she continues to excel in both the music and beauty industries.
